Principle of Compilers

This post's title? It's one of the subjects I'm taking. Unfortunately I'm not digesting 100% what is being taught. I sometimes feel like I should get paid for listening to the lectures because it's work! The lecturer doesn't do eye contact and spends like 5 to 10 minutes on a single slide. He teaches but seems like he's rambling. I'm always in front row trying to pay attention but boy it's hard.

I've been copying people's assignments a lot too. So not proud of this. Last Thursday I was busy cross checking my answers with a friend's when my Jiminy Cricket decided to make an appearance :| I'm hoping to relearn and teach myself whatever I didn't understand the last time. I would assume this thing down here would give me the much needed push to study. Apparently not :\

It'd be amazing to look back on this post in August/September and see an A for this subject on the result transcript because at the moment, an A is far from possible -__-

Week 8

The first week back from break wasn't good. Didn't do enough during the holidays so kena tanggung everything this week. I had 3 chapters to cover for XML Programming test on Wednesday, 2 chapters for Principle of Compilers and 11 freakin' chapters for Database Engineering on Thursday. Sad to say I'm not too happy about all three :(

Dah berlambak topics nak cover of course sleep deprived. Bila sleep deprived sakit pinggang pun datang sebab badan tak cukup rehat. I have the patches handy lately. Rasa macam boleh gila hari Khamis lepas. Tido pukul 1 bangun pukul 2. Tido pukul 4 bangun pukul 5. Tido 5.30 bangun 6.30 -___-

I did surprise myself for not being too cranky the next morning though. Thought it was pointless because everybody was in the same boat and getting all riled up doesn't have me excluded from sitting for the tests pun. That, or nak cranky pun dah tak larat.

Besides the studies, there were also some issues with the car. It was raining cats and dogs on Wednesday. Air masuk kereta lagi, for the second time in Shah Alam :| At one point, there were water puddles in my car. It was bad judgment on my part, but still, could've given me rain check or something.

This weekend is like paradise for us. Except for one deadline, we have it pretty easy next week. I'm hoping to do some catching up, as ambitious as that sounds :\

A Good Start

It's been forever since I last dropped by.

It's already April. It's been a few busy weeks but today things are good :) There's room to breathe.

Despite the fact that I have to be up by 5am tomorrow and the four upcoming days could be tiring, I'm happy today. That's all that should matter I think.
